ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Author and award-winning photographer, Genevieve Ruth, hails from the Great Northwest. She has held several certifications in the medical and dental fields, has a background in communications, and has spent the majority of her professional career in executive administration.

After her husband, Nate, spent three months in a hospital ICU with heart complications (and ultimately required a transplant), she was inspired with purpose, and has since been advocating the critical importance of organ donation registration.

This is how the “Catchlight” series emerged. By uniting with other artists, patients, and advocates alike, Genevieve uses this platform to share the stories and messages of hope, inspiration, and encouragement.

PHILANTHROPY

A portion of proceeds from the sale of all Catchlight-related media supports nonprofit organ donation agencies and helps fund a research program that Nate’s transplant surgeon uses for drug development and testing, specifically for the universal benefit of transplant patients.
